Connect an AI assistant to manage bundles and your cart drawer

Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants can build and change your bundles and cart drawer. Connect from Build with AI in Section Store, approve the connection, then ask the assistant to create or edit them.

Before you start

Section Store must be installed on your store.
Assistants build bundles and carts on any plan. Switching them on needs Section Store Plus.

Connect ChatGPT or Claude

In Section Store, find Build with AI on Home (under the AI Pages card), or at the top of Bundles or Cart Drawer.
ChatGPT: click ChatGPT. On the AI assistants page, copy the Server URL, then add it in ChatGPT (developer mode under Settings, then Apps).
Claude: click Claude (opens in a new tab). Connect Section Store from Claude’s directory listing.

The line says Works with bundles and the cart drawer.

Other assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, and similar)

Open Build with AI → ChatGPT (or Manage if you already connected one) to reach AI assistants.
Under Connect your AI assistant, click Copy next to Server URL (you should see URL copied).
Add a remote MCP server / custom connector in your assistant and paste the URL (production looks like https://mcp.section.store/mcp).

Approve the connection

Your assistant opens a sign-in page titled like Connect [assistant] to Section Store.
Enter Your store (myshopify address, admin URL or store domain) and click Continue.
In Section Store, review what the assistant can do, then click Connect [assistant] (or Cancel).
Stay in the same browser you started in.

Manage connected assistants

Next to Build with AI, click Manage (shown once an assistant is connected).
Under Connected assistants, review each assistant and click Disconnect to revoke access.

Tips

New bundles the assistant creates start off. Turning them on needs Plus.
On Plus, your first cart can start on; later carts start off. Switching a cart on replaces the live cart. The live cart can’t be deleted.
Live bundle or cart changes from an assistant reach shoppers only after you confirm them.
If sign-in says it started in another browser, start again from your AI assistant in this browser.
If you see too many sign-ins from your network, wait 10 minutes and try again.
